Arby's latest ad slogan is "we've got the meats", but that won't be the case this Monday if you order off their weird Leap Day menu.

I'm not saying being a vegetarian is weird, but I am saying a special vegetarian menu that features their famous roast beef sandwich, minus the beef, is weird. I'm not a vegetarian, but I can't imagine a toasted bun with only horsey or Arby's sauce on it can be a real mouth waterer?!?

According to Mashable.com:

Diners will be able to choose from options like the Reuben Sandwich, the Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich and the Beef 'n' Cheddar classic sandwich that are all lacking their eponymous ingredient. Vegetables, condiments and cheese reign supreme as the featured sandwich-stuffers.

I will say this pic of the vegetarian Loaded Italian Sandwich that will be offered looks pretty tasty...

But, the idea of a meatless roast beef sandwich is still throwing me. So is the fact that even though these special sandwiches will feature no meat, their price remains the same. Plus, couldn't you just order any of these sandwiches any day of the year minus the meat, if you wanted to? Is a special Leap Day menu really necessary?

To each their own, I guess.
