Illinois Shoppers Could Get Surprise Amazon Prime Refunds
If you accidentally signed up for Amazon Prime anytime between June 23, 2019, and June 23, 2025, you might end up getting up to $51 back thanks to a $2.5 billion FTC settlement. The government says Amazon made the process of signing up and canceling way too confusing.
When Settlement Payments Are Being Sent
Payouts started on November 12, 2025, and run through December 24, 2025. Claim notices go out by January 23, 206, and the claim window opens December 24, 2025. Payments can arrive by check, PayPal, or Venmo.
