On November 30, the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens and the Rockford Park District are bringing a beloved Christmas classic to life, and spots are filling fast!

The 'Polar Express' is a holiday must for my family. We own the movie, (in 3D may I add) and the soundtrack. I remember being in grade school and being so excited when the day finally came that the librarian was reading 'The Polar Express' to us!

Ready for the most awesome part? On Sunday, November 30 the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens is transforming Trolley Car 36 into the Polar Express! Your family will get to take a ride along the Rock River to a special destination where you will be greeted by Santa and his elves, enjoy some hot chocolate and a reading of 'The Polar Express."

Upon returning to the conservatory you can take part in the All Aglow festivities that the whole family will love!

They will be taking hourly trips from Noon to 4p.m. on November 30, although the final trip at 4p.m. is already completely full! Call 815-987-8858 to reserve your Golden Ticket now. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 3-17, and children 2 and younger are free when riding on an adult's lap.

I know we will be going to this, and I am so excited!
