Christmas at Aikman Wildlife Adventure

Two things my family loves during all seasons of the year are; animals and Christmas lights, and there's one park in Illinois that offers a close up view of both at the same time!

The Pathway of Lights at Aikman Wildlife Adventure is a one-of-a-kind experience where twinkling holiday lights meet up-close animal encounters, and I'm not talking about just reindeer!

The Pathway of Lights is open every Saturday night through January 4, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. and features:

• Lighted walk-thru holiday displays
• Lighted wagon rides
• Holiday story times
• Museum of prehistoric life
• Barn Tours
• Hot food and drinks
• Animal Encounters...and plenty of holiday cheer!

The Pathway of Lights is basically a choose-your-own adventure experience. If you just want to take a leisurely stroll through the property and view some cool animals, a $5 donation per person is suggested. If you want to step up the experience with a lighted wagon ride or UTV tour, or maybe enjoy some playtime with cool animals, you can buy tickets on site. (They are sold on a first come, first serve basis so don't wait!)

During the Pathway of Lights, Aikman Wildlife Adventure also hosts two Santa Nights (December 14 and 21st), so kids can share their wish lists and take some pics with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

In addition to being home to over 200 animals, and transforming into a holiday wonderland, Aikman Wildlife Adventure also offers a unique overnight experience at their onsite Airbnb!
