Forget having to wait till October to visit haunted houses. There's one an hour from Rockford that's open year round.

Narcity shared that the Raven's Grin Inn in Mt. Carroll, IL is a mansion that was bought and transformed into a haunted house that visitors could visit all year.

This place is set up to scare the begeezus out of you. The owner filled it with "monsters, secret passageways, and horrific animatronics".

Plus, they encourage anyone who's planning on visiting to read their Warning and Advisory beforehand. Yep, it's most definitely scary then.

Also, this 'haunted" mansion is said to be haunted in its own right. Allegedly, it's been told that "the owner's first wife left him because she couldn't stand the ghosts in the house. They would pull on her hair and play pranks on her."

YIKES!

Is this place really haunted? Are their ghosts living amidst the creepy, gory and scary artifacts hand placed within?

I guess you'll have to go and find out.

As for me, Heck NO! You won't see me there.
