4-Year-Old Wisconsin Girl Donates Birthday Presents To Hospital

Ella Bast celebrated her upcoming fifth birthday this past Saturday but what she's doing with her gifts is creating headlines.

You see, Ella is going to donate all of her birthday gifts to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Ella's mother, Tracey Bast told Fox 11 in Wisconsin "We were driving in the car one day and Ella just said, 'hey mom I think I wanna give my birthday presents to the sick kids at the hospital.'"

It seems the "pay it forward" approach Ella is utilizing also energized the community in which the Bast family lives.

Just outside of Combined Locks, where the Bast family resides, a restaurant is accepting cash donations to put towards Ella's fundraising efforts.

Ella's gift and cash donations to the local hospital will make it a better experience for young patients as well as their brothers and sisters.
