300 More Jobs Are Coming To Illinois

In spite of Illinois troubles, business is booming.

In fact, 300 more jobs are coming to the state.

In a story picked up by WGN, Walgreens announced that they are adding 300 more positions to their Chicago operations in creating a new technology center.

The new jobs will consist of new hires and those who are relocating to their headquarters in Deerfield.

The technology center that they are creating "which will house the company’s retail and pharmacy technology team along with workers in digital, mobile and e-commerce divisions."

Wow! that is really good news. I mean for everything we hear about businesses and residents fleeing the state in droves, it's nice to know that growth is still happening.
