September is here and the green outdoors will soon change. Spectacular fall colors are on our horizon here in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.  So when will witness the beauty of fall?

The 2019 fall foliage forecast predictions are out, so you can plan ahead as to when to venture out to check of fall's natural beauty. residents on Northern illinois and Southern Wisconsin will start noticing the very beginning of the fall colors the week of Sept 28th.

According to research done by smokeymoutains.com, they estimate that Northern Wisconsin residents will see spectacular fall colors the week of October 12th, Southern Wisconsin residents will see colors peak the week of Oct 19th, while Northern Illinois and Very Southern Wisconsin and will enjoy the maximum color changes the week of October 26th.

  • Yellow = Minimal colors
  • Tan = Partial peak
  • Orange = Near Peak
  • Red = Peak Colors
  • Brown = Past Peak
