Check out this list of the 100 most redneck towns in Illinois. See if your town made the list.

Patch.com made a list using the criteria that Roadsnacks.com used to find out which Illinois towns were the most redneck.

According to Patch.com here is what, they say, makes a town redneck: "a low high school graduation rate and the prevalence of dive bars, mobile home parks, tobacco stores, guns-and-ammo stores, as well as Wal-Marts, Golden Corrals, Bass Pro Shops and Dollar Generals."

Again, this is their list and criteria, not mine nor anyone related to Q98.5.

Some of the towns on the list may surprise you.  I was. I mean, how did Barrington land on the list? That's a head scratcher.

In fact there are several towns listed that are here in the Q98.5 listening area. There's 10 as a matter of fact.
