Gas prices are so high it seems like COVID-19 is long forgotten about. What's more, "everyone" has gone from being scientists and medical experts to oil and gas experts.

Obviously, we're all stuck with paying for gas unless we opt to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, or public transportation. But there are ways to save on gas.

TIPS FOR NOT FINDING CHEAPER GAS

Free gas information is coming but please do not steal gas from your fellow drivers. It's illegal and just plain wrong.

TIPS FOR FREE GAS IN ILLINOIS

This isn't a scam or a hoax, but there is actually a chance to get free gas tomorrow in Illinois. 10 different gas stations will be involved thanks to an Illinois business owner donating $200,000 to give drivers free gas.

This will not necessarily be an opportunity to fill all your vehicles' gas tanks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

According to FOX32,

Gas stations participating in this giveaway will also be lowering their gas prices to be able to serve more vehicles. The first cars in line will get $50 worth of gas each at prices roughly 25% lower than average.

This "event" will begin at 7 a.m. and last until the entire $200,000 is exhausted.
