Video Shows A Massive Fire Destroy a Roscoe Home Friday Afternoon

Fire ripped through a home in Roscoe on Friday afternoon.

The fire occurred at a residence on Shanes Way, just off Crockett in Roscoe. Roscoe fire and other local fire departments responded to the scene.

As of now, the cause of the fire has not been determined. Unconfirmed reports indicate that one resident, who was home at the time, managed to escape the structure along with the family dogs.

The fire started shortly after 2 p.m.

WREX-TV is reporting that neighbors heard a loud "bang". Shortly after, smoke and  flames appeared.
