A popular store on Rockford's east side has been robbed at gun point in broad daylight.

Yet another incident has taken place near CherryVale Mall, at District of CherryVale.

Simply Mac was robbed at today by four individuals, according to Mystateline.com. Though unconfirmed, Rockford Scanner claims the robbery was at gun point. Police officials have not yet confirmed those reports.

Mystateline.com reported,

Authorities say four black men robbed the 'Simply Mac' computer store in the mall sometime around 11 a.m. Friday. After the robbery, they fled in a black Jeep Cherokee, which was last seen driving northbound on I-90.

There have been no reports of injuries.

Two of the suspects were eventually caught after being chased by police down I-90 and blowing a tire. Mystateline.com updated their information with this,

Suspects were fleeing eastbound on I-90 towards Chicago when they blew a tire near Elgin. State Troopers took them into custody a short time later.

It is unclear at this time where the suspects will be taken for booking.
