Planned Power Outage Scheduled For South of Rockford

It will be lights out for a town south of Rockford but don't worry, it will be during the day.

Now there really will be nothing to do in Rochelle. (Or so I've been told.)

Rochelle Municipal Utilities says power will be out in two areas of Rochelle on Friday (September 8th) for an unspecified amount of time. The power outage will affect May Elementary School (which will not be in session) and the hospital (which will rely on generators). The affected areas are mentioned below.
