I too have an O.S.D. Flashback. Last year I met Billy Currington backstage!Wow! Looking at that picture tells a lot. That was several pounds ago and hair color and style changes.

My 10 seconds of fame with a star was after they snapped Billy & I's picture I turned to him and said "You have the prettiest blue eyes ever!" He looked at me kind of smiled and said "Thank you." Hey, I figured I may never see this guy again so I better create some sort of memory for myself.

It's funny how things work. Never in my life did I think I'd meet Billy Currington!

I had just started working here at Q98.5. I wasn't a regular full-time DJ but was working behind the scenes producing commercials and helping out with events. 3 1/2 months later I became part of the team with the At Work Country Club from 10 am - 3 pm weekdays.

And think it all started at O.S.D.

Old Settler's Days will always hold a special place in my heart and memories.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. Lee Brice, Chris Young and Cole Swindell will be taking the stage. Hmmm...now when I meet these guys I need to come up with some other lines to say to them to create a memory for me.

By the way, what are you doing this weekend?

You should head out to Rockton, IL for OSD!

Buttons are $10 at the gate and concert tickets are $25.  visit oldsettlersdays.com for more details.
