How to Volunteer for Rockford’s Stroll on State Holiday Celebration

Rockford's 4th Annual Stroll on State is set for Saturday, November 26, 2016, and Rockford Sharefest is looking for volunteers to help with preparations for the holiday celebration.

Stroll on State is one of my favorite events of the year. I LOVE everything about the holiday season, and it always amazes me how fabulous our community is able to make downtown Rockford  look for this celebration. No surprise it takes a lot of hard work and devoted volunteers to pull it off, and this is where you and I come in.

Rockford Sharefest will begin holding volunteer workshops to prepare for Stroll on State this Saturday, September 17, and will continue to do so every Saturday from 8 a.m. to Noon and every Tuesday from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The workshops will be held at the storage facility located on Madison Street under the bridge.

Children, adults, and all are welcome, so let's take some time to help make our city Merry and Bright this season!
