Simply put, CARE for PETS does amazing things for animals in need in the Rockford area.

They work hard to keep families and their pets together when they need help. They spearheaded awareness and saved many lives when a Parvo outbreak took over the Stateline this past summer, and now they are on a mission to reduce the number of animals entering Winnebago County Animal Services. How do they do that? By raising money to spay and neuter as many pets as possible.

CARE for PETS has created a Spay/Neuter fundraiser  in honor of Giving Tuesday to "provide community outreach services that will improve the health, safety and retention of pets in Winnebago County, ultimately decreasing the number of animals entering into and housed as Animal Services."

All funds raised from this initiative  "will be concentrated on spay/neuter initiatives with a focus being on the most at risk, outdoor cats and pitbulls", and they have nearly hit their goal.

Please consider making a donation today and help play a vital part in saving lives and providing happily ever afters for many deserving animals. No amount is too small, and all of it will make a huge difference in this community.
