Pokemon Go just became more interesting. For adults that is.

The app has become a huge hit with adults between the ages of 21 and 30. So, what better way to enhance the game than by adding a drinking element to it.

Here are the rules according to foodbeast.com:

Each game will begin with a shot of a hard liquor. The poison you choose depends on the Pokemon you choose.

-Charmander gets you Whiskey

-Squirtle gets you Vodka

-Bulbasaur earns you a shot of Tequila

-Pikachu gets you my favorite Rum

Once you have done a shot, head outside with your group. And don't forget about the beer.

This could be the hardest part of the game. All of you have to agree on an area to play the game at. Once that is finalized, set the timer for 40 minutes and go to town!

For every pokeball you use, take a drink of beer. Meaning, if you catch a Pokemon, you get to sip some of the adult beverage.

This next step of the game has confused me, since I have not downloaded the app for my phone. When you play the game, the biggest icons on the screen are called gyms. Now, I associate a gym with basketball, not fake cartoons (please take no offense to that diehards).

All of the players must battle the nearest gym. Anyone who loses has to drink half of beer. If you win, you get to choose who gets to drinks. Meaning, someone could make one person drink up to six beers.

If you beat a gym owned by another team, members of that team MUST drink a FULL beer. Then all other drinkers must take a drink for each Pokemon that they caught.

This all goes on for 40 minutes. Of course, it could go longer, that is if you are able to stand that long.

With all of this fun, PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! Drink responsibly and make sure you are watching where you are walking. This game can be fun, but it can also be hazardous at the same time.

Have fun and drink one for me.
