Aaron Watson Asking for Fans’ Help to Find Stolen Guitar

Aaron Watson had one of his guitars stolen following a recent concert, and he’s asking for his fans’ help in finding it.

On Monday (April 17), Watson shared on his social media accounts that he believes that one of his guitars was stolen out of his bus following a recent show in New Mexico, or possibly while the singer was traveling back to Dallas, Texas. The custom-made guitar, which readers can see in the photo above, features three crosses, Bible verses and Watson’s logo.

“In the grande [sic] scheme of things, it is just a ‘thing,’ and it will be okay,” Watson writes — but, still, he’d like to have his special guitar back. In his post, the artist asks fans to contact him if they see the guitar somewhere; Watson is offering “something very special” for the person who helps return the instrument to him.

Watson is currently out on the road for a tour in support of his newest studio album, Vaquero, released in February. The record follows Watson’s album The Underdog, which debuted at the top of the Billboard country charts, making Watson the first solo male artist to accomplish that feat with a self-released, independently distributed and promoted studio project.

“My approach to [Vaquero] was really simple,” Watson tells The Boot. “It’s basically the same kind of thing that I tell my two little boys before a big baseball game … ‘Hey, if you get out there and you give it all you’ve got, if you just go above and beyond, at the end of the day, whether you win or lose, you’re going to sleep good at night knowing you gave it your best effort.’”

A complete list of Watson’s upcoming tour dates can be found on his official website.
