Thanks to the lack of a state budget in Illinois, institutions like Rock Valley College have been forced to make several cuts and layoffs recently. Despite all the negatives they have been forced to face, the college says they still have plans for program expansions, and one local business just gave them an amazing head start on achieving this goal.

Woodward Governor knows that success comes from supporting educational engineering programs, and the students that are involved in them. That is why Woodward's aircraft turbine systems president recently donated two million dollars to Rock Valley, and thanks to this generosity, the college now has $300,000 in scholarship money to give to local students.
