For as long as I can remember, I have been a Disney kid. Every time a new Disney movie was available for the VCR, I had to have it, and I've kept them all for 20+ years for my kids to enjoy now. (Yes, we still have a working VCR player). To this day, I love singing Disney soundtracks with my kids and still know every single word.  I got goosies and tears in my eyes watching the Disney Family Singalong special last month on ABC because I loved it so much, and I am so happy that we get a chance to strain our vocal chords again on Sunday with the Mother's Day edition of the Disney Family Singalong. But, the best news of all just came out...ABC is reviving the "Wonderful World of Disney" for 4 weeks only starting May 20, 2020.

As a kid, popping some popcorn and sitting in front of the TV to watch the "Wonderful World of Disney" is what my family did on Sunday nights and I LOVED it. We may now have Disney+ available that allows us to have our own "Wonderful World of Disney" any night of the week, but there's just something about reviving those Sunday night feelings from when I was a kid that has me all excited.

There is one big difference though, ABC's revival of "Wonderful World of Disney" will not take place on Sunday nights this go-round, but on Wednesday nights instead. According to hollywoodreporter.com, ABC will run "Wonderful World of Disney" programming on Wednesdays for 4 weeks beginning with "Moana" on May 20th.

Other movies in the lineup include; Marvel's Thor: The Dark World on May 27, Pixar's Up on June 3 and Disney Animation's Big Hero 6 on June 10.

ABC's "Wonderful World of Disney" will be airing locally on WTVO, so mark it in your reminders to get your comfies on and popcorn poppin' on May 20 so you don't miss the fun!
