Voting, There’s An App For That

Voting. There's an App for that. Yep you heard me right.We know it's our right and patriotic duty to vote our conscience for the best candidate in the Illinois Primaries. How would you like to vote straight from your phone and avoid the lines and check-in process at your Polling Place?

Researchers at Rice University are doing just that. They have the technology to download an election app to your smartphone. Now the big question is will lawmakers approve this measure? The app has to be 100% secure, that no tampering can take place or cause any errors in the voting process.

I'm feeling 50/50 on on this app. Part of me thinks it would be a great convenience. The other part of me thinks we're becoming more introverted and possibly lazy letting our phones do all the work.
