Toews and Kane Sign Deals

It's a goal for Chicago Blackhawk fans. It is now official: Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane will be with The Chicago Blackhawks for a long time.

The Blackhawks announced today, Wednesday July 9, 2014 that both players signed matching eight-year contract extensions for a reported $10.5 million per season that will run through the 2022-23 campaign.

A formal press conference with both players and the Blackhawks brass will he held at the United Center at some point next week.
