Like it or not, the ice bucket challenge to raise awareness for ALS has been a huge success. The goal was to create awareness and raise funds, and I say the mission was accomplished. Now, the question is, can we do it again for 2 very meaningful causes?

First up you have "The Doubtfire Challenge." This is to raise support for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in honor of Robin Williams. It involves having whip cream or shaving cream smashed in your face to create the look from the "Hellooo" scene from the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire." Jerrod Niemann was the first country star to take this challenge. Check it out here. Steve Summers is gonna be in trouble when he comes back from vacation. I have a brand new can of shaving cream at home with his name on it.

As a new mom, this second challenge really touches my heart. The parents of an adorable little 4 year old girl named Eliza O'Neill are asking us to sing 2 lines from any song to save their child's life. Eliza has been diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome which is very rare, and will eventually take her life if her parents can't raise the money needed for a clinical trial. Read all about it here.

Fire up those cameras, warm up that singing voice, sing and share!  When posting on social media you can use these words from Eliza's parents, Glenn and Cara O'Neill:

I’ve been challenged to #sing2lines for #savingeliza. This urgent campaign is to stop the fatal childhood disease Sanfilippo Syndrome for Eliza and other kids. I challenge my 5 friends (add name tags here) to sing 2 lines from any song of your choosing, and challenge 5 of your freinds. Should you not accept, please we ask donate $50 to www.SavingEliza.com (and you can always sing, challenge and donate!) Thank you! #sing2lines #savingeliza

Let the challenges begin! To learn more, or to make a donation go to savingeliza.com.
