The Edgebrook Farmer’s Market In Rockford Is Back

Its been pretty wet around here lately but with spring comes all the things we love about our town. Another sign that the seasons are changing is the Edgebrook Farmer's Market. Yesterday was the first time this year it was open. Its a great way to support local farmers and get all that farm to table taste will all love. This year there are lots of great tents and booths with tasty offerings like breads, seasonal vegetables, flowers, fruits, plants, sweets and local meats.

There are a good bit of small farms around our area and this really helps the community. Yesterday I even saw a brick pizza oven on a trailer and the pies they were selling looked so good. If you are interested in going for the first time or coming back, the Farmer's Market will happen every Wednesday from May 1st to October 31st. Happy local shopping!
