Texas Man Dies from Injuries Suffered in Hardee’s Fight
A Texas man involved in a Sunday altercation at the Hardee’s in Hannibal has died of his injuries.
The Adams County Coroner reports that 43 year old Gregory Stanley of Vidor, Texas died late Wednesday night at Blessing Hospital.
Hannibal Police report that Stanley was being verbally abusive to employees and patrons of the Hardee’s Sunday afternoon.
As the result of the ensuing physical altercation, Stanley suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital and later transferred to Blessing.
33 year old Damien Fugate of Hannibal was charged Monday with second degree assault in connection with the fight. He is in the Marion County Jail on $10,000 bond.
An autopsy is scheduled for Stanley.
