Could Rockford's biggest pothole problem streets be a thing of the past soon? If the City of Rockford's new proposed Capital Improvement Plan passes they could be!

A water main relocation project was just announced that will create lane closures and detours on E. State between Perryville and Bell School Roads.

The project, which should take around two weeks, involves replacing a 120-year-old water main.

Even when workers aren't present, you must always obey Illinois construction zone speed restrictions.
