God Bless you, Christine. I stopped to get english muffins on my way to the radio station and look at the 'gift' she gave me. Heck, the gift SHE GAVE US ALL!!!

A new 5-cent statewide tax on plastic bags would hit up Illinois shoppers for as much as $23 million in state revenue. Chicago would be exempt from the new tax, since it already has a tax in place.

I recycle as much as I can. Sometimes though the plastic grocery bags I get from the stores seem to multiply like rabbits. I reuse them for trash bags but I still seem to have more than enough. Now I know what else they can be used for! The Loves Park chapter of the VFW Post 9759, takes ordinary plastic shopping bags and turns them into beds!
