Over 2,500 different universities around the world were evaluated on a variety of criteria to determine the very best, and Illinois makes a great showing with eleven schools landing on the list (and two in the top 100 worldwide).
Polling shows that around 75 percent of teachers find cellphones in the classroom to be a big, sometimes huge, distraction from the learning process. This bill, recently passed by the Illinois Senate, may start to change all that--but not everyone is into the idea of a classroom cellphone ban.
