Illinois product recall

A massive recall from Thermos has everyone talking, and it’s not just about food safety this time — it’s about potential injuries.

A Green Bay, Wisconsin company is voluntarily recalling over 100 canned coffee brands that were sold throughout the country, including here in Illinois due to the risk of botulism contamination.

The next time someone tells you "It smells like a barn in here," just tell them that normally your house smells like fresh waters or fresh linen, but you're going to go for that natural house smell because of a product recall due to safety concerns.

Okay, just to recap, over the last short-while we've seen recalls on things like peanut butter, frozen pizzas, baked goods, onions, and Capri Sun drink pouches. There are plenty more (like today's entry) to add to the list, but I've only got so much space here.

Sometimes when you see a notice of a product or products being recalled, there's that sense of relief when you realize that you don't have or don't use those products.
