You know clocks go back an hour this weekend but do you know the health effects that can come along with the change?

Setting are clocks ahead and behind may be a thing of the past soon in Illinois, but is that entirely good news?

By now, you've seen umpteen reminders that this weekend is the weekend that we make that biannual clock change that everyone really hates but we don't do anything to change.

For some reason, I remember Daylight Saving Time is in October and not November.

Try a little experiment at work or home. Mention to people around you that it's about a month until it's time to change the clocks again. See how many people respond with something to the effect of "Again? I ****ing hate having to do that!"

A little less than two weeks from now (March 14th, to be exact) we get to take part in that much-beloved ritual of setting our clocks ahead. If an Illinois state representative gets his way, this could be one of the last times we have to do that.

As strange as it may sound, a new study says that we're pretty angry right after we "fall back." A lot angrier than when we "spring forward."

Get ready for "fall back", folks, and get ready for an extra hour of sleep.

Remember 2019? It seems like ages ago. There was a time when we thought Daylight Saving Time would change for the entire state.

Well, the newer, higher-tech clocks will. The old ones still require a manual change.
