Yesterday marked the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America, but it wasn't until today that I saw Budweiser's amazing tribute featuring their beloved clydesdales.
The 15th anniversary of 9/11 is on Sunday and many displays, signs and other tributes will be seen to commemorate the day. However, one display won't be as it sparked outrage for many at this Wal-Mart.
The nation was in mourning when February 3, 2002 rolled around. Many of you will remember that emotional and powerful television commercial that featured the Budweiser Clydesdales that aired only one time during Super Bowl XXXVI.
Bretagne is a 16-year-old Golden Labrador Retriever who spent her first deployment as a member of the Texas Task Force 1 with her mom/handler Denise Corliss searching the destruction at Ground Zero. I find it not so coincidental that I woke up with Garth Brooks newest "People Loving People" running through my head that morning.
As traumatic as September 11th, 2001 will be forever ingrained in our minds. There is nothing greater than honoring those that lost their lives that tragic day.
