This is a very creative proposal but, at the same time, it also could make things awkward for someone else.

Up in Madison, Wisconsin there's the Holiday Fantasy Lights at Olin Park, which is similar to Festival of Lights at Sinnissippi Park. Someone thought it would be a cute idea to propose to their special someone by spelling out "Kelly, will you marry me?" in Christmas lights. Sure, it's definitely memorable but come bring about awkward circumstances for someone else romantically involved with a "Kelly." Travis Leanna of Madison was quick to point this out with an explanation on Facebook. But, he also advised on how to use this to your advantage if you're ready to pop the big questions to "Kelly."

If you are in a relationship with someone named Kelly and are not intending to propose to him or her anytime soon, I recommend skipping the Holiday Fantasy Lights at Olin Park so as not to have any awkward and/or misleading ideas. If you are planning on proposing to a Kelly, now is the time to piggy back (sic) off of someone else's hard work and preparation.

If you know someone with a "Kelly" in their life you might want to let them know about this display. It could change that person's life in a big big way.
