Rockford Police Take Kids with Down Syndrome Shopping
The Rockford Police Department is determined to create new and lasting relationships in the community, and their latest event is guaranteed to melt your heart!
Rockford Police teamed up with the Meijer store on Perryville to take kids from Gigi's Playhouse shopping for the holidays. Meijer donated $100 each to 30 kids, and then the cops helped them shop for gifts for their loved ones. If the kids accidentally spent more money than they were given, the cops generously opened up their own wallets to cover the cost.
See, I told you it would melt your heart.
