Rockford Homeowners May Get More Time to Pave Driveways

In case you live in Rockford, have a gravel driveway or parking lot, and weren't aware of this new ordinance from the City of Rockford; you have until November 1, 2019, to get your gravel driveway paved...or you get fined.

Now, if you're just reading this information for the first time, don't panic and start calling paving companies all mad, you may have an additional year to get the job done.

WTVO reports;

Rockford City Council could vote to extend the deadline for residents to pave their driveway and parking lots...

If approved, the new deadline would be pushed out to November 1st, 2020.

You may want to start getting bids from paving companies now though before they all book up.
