For one night only, the adults will have complete control of the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago for an after-hours holiday event.

The "Adults Night Out: Holidaze" event will happen after the gates of the zoo close on Thursday night (12/15) from 6:30 to 10:00 pm and promises to offer "no kids" and "no crowds," according to the Lincoln Park Zoo website.

Some of the featured events that will be happening throughout the zoo during "Adults Night Out" include live ice carving, animal chats, live DJs, and cash bars with food available for purchase.

Pre-sale tickets to experience millions of Christmas lights at 'Holidaze" are available for adults 18 and older and cost $30 plus fees. General Admission is available while they last for $40.

Lincoln Park Zoo reminds those who are attending the evening event that animals are able to go indoors and outdoors as they please and they "hope many animals will choose to be outside, but they may choose to spend their evening indoors."

Proceeds from the Holidaze event will benefit the Lincoln Park Zoo and help to keep it open for free, 365 days a year.

While the adult night is only being held on December 15, ZooLights will continue through January 8 and run from 4:30 to 10:30 pm with a $5 admission fee Tuesdays through Sundays. Monday's are free admission for ZooLights
