What Is The Car Of Your Dreams?

Everyone has a car of their dreams. For many, it's something that is nostalgic for them. For others, it might be something they saw in a TV show or movie. It could even be a vehicle they grew up around. For me, it would be the Trans Am from "Smokey and the Bandit."

Illinois Man Finds The Car Of His Dreams In Wisconsin

A man from Crystal Lake is a big fan of the movie "Back to the Future." His dream car is a DeLorean. There weren't that many made back in the day, so they are hard to find. Through a search on social media, he tracked one down in southern Wisconsin.

He discovered a 1981 DeLorean that had been stored in an old garage for years. The car had less than 1,000 miles on it. Besides being really dirty and needy a tune-up, the vehicle was in pretty darn good condition. Plus, it still had all its original parts. That is an amazing find for this fan.

According to cbsnews.com,

Michael McElhattan, owner of car restoration company DeLorean Midwest, now owns a 1981 DeLorean with less than 1,000 miles on the odometer.

The iconic stainless steel car with gull wing doors had been sitting in a Wisconsin barn for decades, and he tracked it down with the help of social media.
