Dane County prosecutors allege a man and woman plotted to kill several of the man’s ex-girlfriends by poisoning them with cyanide.
The arrests and alleged poisonings are what prompted several hazmat investigations across Madison this week, involving the FBI and the Wisconsin National Guard.
Brown alleged that Whitaker and Paul Van Duyne, who faces charges of stalking and attempted homicide, started dating and planned to kill women he had previously dated by poisoning them.
