Wisconsin Ice Cream Shop Says Goodbye To Artificial Dyes
Sometimes, it's just nice to see businesses make a difference with simple modifications. It doesn't take much to make customers happier!
Lately, my Facebook feed has been poppin' with all sorts of positivity. The latest post I saw that made me happy was from a Wisconsin ice cream shop, Mullen's Dairy Bar.
I wasn't following their page, never heard of their shop, and don't even live in Wisconsin, but I sure as hell can't wait to go after seeing what change they implemented to protect their most beloved customers.
Wisconsin Ice Cream Shop Says Goodbye To Artificial Dyes
"If you’ve noticed changes to the color of some of your favorite flavors at Mullen’s Dairy Bar, it’s because we have transitioned our ice cream away from ALL artificial dyes such as Red 40, Yellow 5, and Blue 1."
"Food dyes can have adverse neurobehavioral effects on children and teens—our most beloved customers. As parents of small children, this subtle change was a no brainer for the Mullen’s team."
They're looking out for their customers and this "subtle change" meant so much to thousands of people, based on the amount of likes and comments they received!
Most companies wouldn't even consider changing their ways because they know what's "been working" over the years. Sometimes, change is exactly what we need.
Everyone thanked them for putting their health first over profits. Love that.
They remind me of Dairyhäus in Rockton. Brent, the owner, cares so much about the community, his staff, and most importantly, his customers. He makes incredible ice cream, all sorts of flavors, and values what his consumers say and desire. Shoutout to businesses like these!
