Who says you have to live on a coast to be one of the most successful people in America? Wisconsin is home to the most successful female entrepreneur in America. 

Who runs the world? According to Beyonce, 'girls,' but we know we have quite a ways to go until that's completely true, but women are finding success all across the United States including Wisconsin.

Yes, I said Wisconsin. Land of cheese curds and beer, and home to the most successful female entrepreneur in America, according to Forbes.

Forbes gave this title to Diane Hendricks, from Beloit, Wisconsin, who's net worth is more than $12 billion.

I mean, I've heard of Diane before, I've maybe even been in the same room as she has, but I didn't know we had a woman with a $12 billion net work living so close to us! Diane cofounded ABC Supply with her husband, Ken, who passed away in 2007, they met in the 1970s when she was a real estate agent and he was a roofing contractor. They started their company in 1982 and hit $1 billion in sales in 1998, according to Forbes.

She's managed to grow that business even more since Ken's death, tripling her net worth in the last five years.

That's pretty incredible if you asked me.

Just this week, one of the companies under her belt launched a Kombucha company, the first of it's kind, bringing Kombucha powder packs to Amazon. 

You know what's the craziest part of this whole story? Diane is the top female self-made businesswoman in America, and the woman in second place, Judy Faulkner... she's from Wisconsin, too!
