A city in Illinois appears to be the temporary home for one of pop music's biggest stars who is preparing to head out on the road for a giant tour.

And she's not alone either.

TikTok Sleuths Identify Location

On Monday afternoon, Troye Sivan shared a TikTok showing him walking around a city alongside one of the the summer's biggest artists, Charli XCX. Text on the video read "Sweat Tour rehearsals lfg."

The two are scheduled to headline the Sweat Tour, which kicks off Sept. 14 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The 22-date tour makes stops in just about every major U.S. city along with a couple dates in Canada.

In the TikTok, the duo make it seem like they are in New York until the camera turns toward a cozy downtown as viewers hear cow sounds. Clearly, this isn't New York City.

Many in the comments asked which city in Michigan the two were rehearsing in given the tour begins in Detroit. A few eagle-eyed viewers caught on that Charli XCX and Sivan were actually in a city in Illinois.

Where is Charli XCX Rehearsing In Illinois?

If you watch closely and you know your central Illinois cities, you may be able to catch on to where the two performers are rehearsing.

At the beginning of the TikTok, we can just barely see a sign in the distance on top of a building. The sign is black with white lettering.

A similar sign saying "Jesus Is" can be found on top of the Dream Center in Peoria.

Near the end of the video there is a dead giveaway that this was shot in Peoria. When Sivan turns the camera to show the downtown area, we get a quick glance of a hotel sign in the distance.

The sign high above the building is for Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria.

Before you get your hopes up that Charli XCX and Troye Sivan are doing a secret show in Peoria, it's important to know that artists often rent out arenas to practice for their upcoming tours.

Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center currently has nothing scheduled until a Foreigner and Loverboy on Sept. 25, making this the perfect time for a pop superstar to rehearse before heading out on the road.
