I think I found one of the best mimosas in Illinois, and it's at one of the most unexpected places ever: A diner.

You'd never guess from the outside that a diner would be serving up a mimosa so delicious that it'd make me write a whole blog about it, but here I am.

I've had my fair share of mimosas throughout my 27 years on this planet, but nothing that compares to this one. I've always wanted to order it, but didn't want to be disappointed if it wasn't good. Well, I was far from disappointed.

Ever heard of Ned's Diner in Belvidere, Illinois? If not, you're about to make a trip. I tried the hashstack last time I was there and it hit the spot!

I ordered the loaded mimosa from Ned's Diner a few days ago and it was served in the biggest glass I've ever seen. I knew at the moment it'd be FIRE!

The perfect balance of champagne freshly squeezed homemade orange juice, and all the flavors you need to start your day off right. If you're not drinking a mimosa with your breakfast, what are you doing (probably drinking coffee)?!

This drink hit me like a train after I finished it—in a good way. If I'm not feelin' anything after downing one of these, did I really get the proper experience? Nah.

Ned's Diner is known for all their dessert, brunch menu, and now? MIMOSAS. So glad I decided to give it a try because it's now on my top 3 list of best mimosas I've ever had. 100%.
