Tacos and margaritas are always a great idea, especially when we're talking about the most iconic taco joint in Illinois. Do you know what it is?

Where did this taco joint receive this honor? From Finance Buzz and MSN. They laid out the top taco joints in every star and it's not a surprise that ours is in Chicago.

What was a surprise to me... I've been to this taco joint a bunch of times!

The Most Iconic Taco Joint in Illinois

The honor goes to Big Star, which has three locations in Chicago. One in Wicker Park, one in Wrigleyville and one in West Town.

I've been to the Wrigleyville spot a few times because it's right across the street from Wrigley Field, you know where the OG McDonald's used to be.

While I do like tacos, I go there for the margaritas. They are REALLY good. Like really good. These margarita feelings might be enhanced because I don't drink beer and most of the other restaurants and bars in the area focus on beer during the Cubs games, but I always start my Wrigley days with margs at Big Star.

I'm not even sure I've ever had their tacos, so you'll have to tell me if they're really the best in Illinois.
