Other states with Best Buy locations closing include Tennessee, Missouri, Minnesota, California, and Texas.

Why is Best Buy closing multiple locations this year?

"these changes are necessary to relieve the pressures of a changing world, a world in which customers are in control and increasingly more digital and the cost to operate physical stores such as rent and labor are not likely going to come down." [BestLifeOnline]

This is crazy to hear because I was just telling someone that big box stores must be struggling as the digital age continues to advance as fast as it has been in the last few years.

As these big box stores try to get back on their feet, so are employees who are losing their jobs. Though it's only a few locations as of right now, employees are getting hit the hardest.
