If you have this kind of money to drop on a martini, let's be friends.

None of us want to check our bank accounts after a night out. Those cocktails are expensive and even if we just got paid, it still hurts to see the balance.

But no drink I've ever seen comes close to this martini.

According to a release obtained by NBC Chicago, a restaurant in Chicago is claiming to have the 'most expensive martini in the U.S.' and they might actually be right.

The Drink

Meet the "Marrow Martini", available at Adalina's in Chicago. It is served with a diamond tennis necklace, the drink itself is a "smoked heirloom tomato mezcal martini", created by Colin Hofer, who was the Michelin Guide's "Sommelier of the Year" in 2022.

The necklace has 150 diamonds in 14k gold and it's served with a smoking cloche.

The restaurant wouldn't say what specifically is in the drink. It's that level of fancy. It's similar to the restaurant's "The Mezcaltini", which is significantly cheaper and has Clase Azu Regional Mexcal, Clarified tomato water, lemon basil olive olive and Maldon salt.

The Price Tag

The "Marrow Martini" can be yours for a mere $13,000.

No I didn't mistype that. It's five figures. For one drink.

The drink is expected to remain on Adalina's menu "indefinitely", according to the restaurant.

It's called the "Marrow Martini" because the necklace garnish (if you want to call it that?) is from Marrow Fine, the jewelry store right below Adalina's.
