If you're thinking about moving somewhere in Missouri, there's some interesting news. The Census Bureau just dropped a new report listing the cheapest zip codes to live in, and let me tell you, the results might surprise you.

So, according to the Census Bureau, they've ranked these zip codes based on what you'd pay every month for things like mortgage payments, taxes, insurance, utilities, and condo fees. And you won't believe which zip code snagged the number one spot – it's 63675 in Vulcan, Missouri, with an average home cost of just $239 a month!

Kansas City made the top five with zip code 64120, coming in at $317 a month. Doesn't that seem a bit low for KC? I mean, my sister pays way more than that for her apartment. Could be it depends on where exactly you're living in the city, right?

But on the flip side, when we look at the bottom of the list, we've got zip codes like 64155 and 63303 in Kansas City and Saint Charles, with average monthly costs of over a thousand bucks. See what I mean? It's all about location, location, location.

And get this – none of the towns around the Hannibal/Quincy area cut. Can you believe it? I was kind of expecting Palmyra or maybe Canton to sneak in there, but nope, not a single one. Guess we'll just have to keep our eyes peeled for that perfect zip code elsewhere.
