The One and Only CP Holiday Train Making Two Stops in Missouri
It's back. After taking a few years off due to the pandemic, the CP Holiday Train will be making two stops in Missouri.
Come see the magic and spectacular holiday train that will be decorated for the holiday season. The 2023 CPKC Holiday Train will make a stop in Chillicothe (CPKC tracks adjacent to the Lowes Parking Lot) and Kansas City at Union Station.
The train is not only for people to come to see it travels all over Canada and the United States raising money, and awareness of the importance of what the food banks do in communities. There will also be musical artists at most stops performing on the train.
Since its inception in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $22.5 million and more than 5 million pounds of food for community food banks across North America.
Chillicothe Stop
At this stop (which will dock on November 27th at 2:45 pm) you will see Seaforth a duo from Australia and Kiesza a Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist. The train will only be there until 3:30 pm on the 27th, so you will have a short window to see the holiday train.
Kansas City Stop
The train then heads west to Kansas City and will arrive at 6:45 pm and depart at 7:30 pm. The same artists that are performing in Chillicothe will perform in Kansas City. Even though you will have a small window to see the holiday train it would be an awesome site to see all decked out in holiday decorations and all for a good cause. Follow the train all holiday season on its Facebook page.
