The yearly ratings for hospitals across the country from the popular site LeapFrog have just debuted. Great news for Illinois, 30 of the hospitals in the Land of Lincoln received an A Grade, did your local hospital make the A Grade?

LeapFrog has released its latest Hospital Safety Grades and great news for Illinois 30 of the hospitals in Illinois received an A Grade. To see the full list of the hospital safety grades for the Land of Lincoln just click here!

25 hospitals received a B safety grade, 50 received a C safety grade, 7 received a D safety grade, and 1 hospital called South Shore Hospital received an F.

I love these rankings from LeapFrog because we deserve to know how safe the hospitals in our area our. If you live in a bigger city and have the choice between multiple hospitals in your area, you absolutely should be looking into these rankings when determining where you should get care from.

If you look around where we live in the Tri-States we are lucky to have hospitals that scored A safety ratings like Blessing and McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. I say that because none of the other hospitals close to us in Springfield, Jacksonville, or Galesburg scored A grades, in fact, they all scored C grades. Do you find these grades helpful?
