A new attraction is currently under construction on the shores of Lake Michigan that will bring a whole new experience to Chicago next year.

According to the billboards posted at Navy Pier, the "ultimate flying ride" will be opening in the Spring of 2024 which will let you see landscapes like never before while having the feeling of flight.

The FlyOver experience already has locations in Las Vegas, Canada, and Iceland and uses state-of-the-art technology including a 65-foot wrap-around screen, flight-motion seats that "swoop, dip, and turn," along with mists and scents of nature that give you the full-immersive experience.

If you visit Navy Pier today, you'll see large curtains covering the second-floor area glass wall where the FlyOver attraction is planning to open next to the popular Centennial Wheel ride.

Located in the former IMAX movie theater space at Navy Pier in Chicago, the FlyOver attraction was originally planned to open in the Fall of this year (2023), current completion is expected sometime in the Spring of next year.

This multi-sensory journey will be Chicago's first of its kind, and when it opens the experience will begin with a "signature flight ride in addition to showcasing its growing portfolio of stunning flight ride films."
