Halloween by the Numbers Part Two
Wallet Hub once again has broken down Halloween by the numbers. This time we'll look at Halloween safety numbers. Things get a little spooky on Hallows eve when it comes to safety. On average every year for Halloween about 840 house fires will happen, might want to keep an extinguisher handy. But that's not all, around Thirty six people get injured in those fires every year.
Direct property damage by fires on Halloween amounts up to 11.4 million dollars, That's a whole lot of damage for just one day of candy. When it comes to teaching their kids Halloween safety only about 35 percent of parents do it. I really feel that number should be a lot higher. Whatever you get into this Halloween just be careful and have a great time. Remember it's all about the kids. But of course the adult parties are fun too.
