Former Rockford IceHogs Coach Arrested For Domestic Battery In Boone County
Former Rockford IceHogs coach Ted Dent served the team from 2011 to 2017. Last week he was arrested on multiple domestic violence charges. Boone County court records show Dent has two charges, domestic battery/bodily harm and domestic battery/physical contact.
According to WIFR, the complaint states several restrictions Ted Dent must adhere to.
Dent is not allowed to consume alcohol, use drugs without a prescription or have contact with two direct family members while his case is under investigation.
He is only allowed to return to his residence one time under specific conditions. He must be accompanied by law enforcement and collect personal belongings within 20 minutes.
Ted Dent is scheduled to appear in court again in mid-April. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
